Chocolate Cake w/ vanilla & Chocolate Buttercream

This 9" dual layer round cake is 'the best' chocolate cake. It is surrounded by chocolate buttercream rosettes, but layered and topped with vanilla buttercream.

Chocolate Cake w/ dual chocolate and vanilla buttercream.

Sandwiched between this dual layer cake is a vanilla buttercream frosting with Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips.  Vanilla buttercream flanked the sides and chocolate buttercream was used for the top along with flourettes of vanilla buttercream.

Gluten-free Vanilla Character Cake:

This Super Nintendo controller cake with Super Mario Bros. mushroom cupcakes was made for a friend going to the gaming conference.  It is made out of a gluten-free vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting.  The mushroom cupcakes are made from the same base, but include white chocolate medallions on top to make the perfect circles.

Chocolate cake with Vanilla Ombre Buttercream frosting:

This ombre cake is a three tier cake with the vanilla buttercream as filling and flanking the sides with rosettes.  The large white rose in the middle is made with a royal frosting to achieve color.

Floral Gluten-free Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream:

These beautiful creations show a range of intricacy I can add to any cake, or cupcake.  The Rose in the middle is especially beautiful.  The gluten-free cupcake is moist and has a bounce and the vanilla buttercream is made out of natural food coloring.  The buttercream can be flavored raspberry or lemon instead.

This cupcake is my favorite indulgence.  The perfect bounce and texture and balanced with the vanilla buttercream 'softserve' design with sixlet topper.  Always peanut, tree nut, and egg free.

Sweet Perfection:

This is the chocolate cupcake with vanilla buttercream cut open to show the perfect consistency...yum.  Even with a cherry looking sixlet on top!

Banana flax with chocolate chip sweet bread:

This is such a delicious treat on a lazy morning, or to bring into work to make many people happy with a slice.  Peanut, tree nut, and egg free, our sweet breads mimic our delicious muffins. 

Maple, brown sugar, and oat muffin!

Perfect morning muffin to replace your bowl of maple and brown sugar bowl of oatmeal.  These muffins are great for on the go.  

Lemonade Muffin:

This citrus muffin bursts with flavor and begs for the summer monhs.  These lemon muffins are sprinkled with lemon and sugar.  lemony lusciousness...

So yummy, these little muffins are free of Gluten, Dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, and eggs!

Banana Flax and Chocolate chip muffins:

My daughter's favorite breakfast.  These muffins are a family secret and feel like a guilty pleasure, but with get your system going.  These are also the ones I stock regularly if I need an emergency treat for my daughter's school.   

St. Patty's Day: Mint, Vanilla, and Lemon Frosted Sugar Cookies.

These fun St. Patrick's day cookies were made for my daughter's class, 30+ kids and for them I made most with the shamrock design and mint frosting.  However I knew some kids in her class didn't like mint, so the Pot'O'gold/leprechaun head was made with vanilla frosting as the base and lemon frosting as the gold/beard.  I also used gold sugar flakes to make it look more like a pot of gold and less like an Easter Basket. ;) 

Sugar Cut-out cookies with vanilla royal frosting.

Various sugar cookies can be made throughout the year.  I make new shapes every season, this one was for the spring season and into summer.  The flowers can be redone in any color frosting.  These are large cookies, about 4 inches in diameter.  Again, we can replace the vanilla frosting for lemon, raspberry, and mint.

Oat'n'sun chocolate chip cookies!

These are my monster oatmeal, sunbutter, and chocolate chip cookies.  They feel healthier when you are eating them due to the flaxseed/oatmeal combo.  No worries on them being a little underdone...there aren't eggs in this mixture. Yum.  Live, laugh, love, and eat some Oat'n'sun chocolate chip monster cookies!

All made with Earth Balance soy-free butter and can be gluten free, and dairy free.
